CBD pollen — known to enthusiasts as kief — is made up of the trichomes separated from the hemp flower. These tiny resin glands concentrate most of the plant's cannabinoids and terpenes. Once gathered, they form a fine, blond to golden powder with an intense, distinctive aroma. At Maison Résine, every CBD pollen keeps a THC level of ≤ 0.3%, in line with regulations.
Dry sifting
Our pollen is produced by dry sifting: dried flowers are gently passed over calibrated mesh screens. As they move, the trichomes detach and fall through the mesh, while the plant matter stays on top. This purely mechanical process, without solvent or water, preserves the original aromas and yields a remarkably pure powder.
Textures and appearance
Depending on the hemp variety and the fineness of the screen, CBD pollen shows shades ranging from pale sand to golden brown. Its dry, powdery texture can be lightly pressed into small, crumbly blocks. Aromatic profiles vary — woody, spicy, herbal or fruity notes depending on the dominant terpenes.
How to enjoy CBD pollen
Pollen is especially well suited to infusion: stir a pinch into a hot drink together with a fat (milk, cream) that helps carry the compounds. It can also be used through vaporisation at a controlled temperature with a suitable vaporiser. We strongly advise against any combustion. These products are strictly reserved for adults (18+).
Laboratory-checked quality
Every batch of CBD pollen is tested by an independent laboratory to verify the cannabinoid profile and compliance with the legal threshold of THC ≤ 0.3%. We select carefully grown hemp to ensure consistency and purity.
Storing your CBD pollen
Because pollen is a fine, delicate powder, storage matters. Keep it in an airtight container, away from light, heat and humidity — ideally in a cool, dark place. Under good conditions its aromas and texture stay stable for a long time, while exposure to air gradually dulls the terpene profile. Handle it with dry hands or a clean spoon to avoid clumping, and close the container tightly after each use.
Our CBD pollen is available in several formats, so you can start with a small quantity to discover a variety, then choose the amount that suits your habits. Each product sheet details the origin, the terpene notes and the measured cannabinoid content, so you can compare our references with confidence.
