The Double Zero, or 00, refers in hash tradition to the finest sifting grade. The numbers correspond to the number of successive sieves passed through: the lower the grade, the tighter the mesh and the purer the resin collected. The "00" is thus synonymous with fineness and superior quality, a trichome powder of great cleanliness.
